ARBITRATOR AND FORMER JUDGE, PUNJAB AND HARYANA HIGH COURT

Justice (Retd.) Viney mittal has almost 50 years of experience in legal field. He has remained a judge of the Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh and Madhya Pradesh High Court, Bench at Indore. Justice Mittal is presently on a constitutional assignment with the Government of India, as a Member of Mahadayi Water Disputes Tribunal, (MWDT), with regard to a water sharing dispute between the States of GOA, KARNATAKA and MAHARASHTRA, with regard to the water of river Mahadayi (Known so in Karnataka, and called Mandovi/Mandavi in Goa)

Justice Mittal, also having practiced for a period of thirty years, has a great expertise in various fields of law, including Civil laws, (comprising Contract laws, Land laws, Property disputes, Succession/Will matters, Marriage disputes, Child Custody matters, Revenue matters, Rent laws etc.), Criminal matters arising from crimes against women and children, Immigration laws, Commercial laws, including bouncing of cheque matters and other debt recovery matters, Corporate laws and is also an expert in the field of Arbitration and Mediation/Conciliation cases.

Justice Mittal is also a freelancer Arbitrator, participating in very high-stake and highly contested arbitrations and is a Life-Member/Arbitrator of the Indian Council of Arbitration (ICA), and doing arbitrations for ICA also.
